2023-06-FAC - RTU Replacements – Civic Center and Eagle Point Recreation Center

The intent of this project is to replace (1) existing rooftop HVAC unit (RTU) located at the Civic Center Building and (2) RTUs located at Eagle Point Recreation Center, which have reached their end of life, with like-kind units.

• Civic Center – 7887 E 60th Ave, Commerce City 80022
  • Replace AHU #7, 50 Ton Aaon (RN-060-3-0BA02) Conditioned water – heat pump, with like kind from a City approved manufacturer. (See Attachment G)
  • Including associated costs for the following:
    • Plumbing and electrical work to make the unit properly function
    • To connect to existing BACnet controls
    • Testing, balancing and commissioning the new unit
    • Removal and proper disposal of existing unit
    • Permitting
    • Patch repairs to roof top membrane

• Eagle Point Recreation Center – 6060 Parkway Dr., Commerce City 80022
  • Replace RTU #4 Trane Model YCD-241E4VCAD (electric & gas) – with like kind from a City approved manufacturer. (See Attachment G)
  • Replace RTU #7 Trane ModelYCD-2400C4HA (DX coolant, gas heat, economizer) with like kind from a City approved manufacturer. (See Attachment G)
  • Including associated costs for the following:
    • Plumbing and electrical work to make the unit properly function
    • To connect to existing BACnet controls
    • Testing, balancing and commissioning the new unit
    • Removal and proper disposal of existing unit
    • Permitting
    • Patch repairs to roof top membrane
