RFP-R16-065 GA - Sales and Use Tax Audit Services

Summary of Specifications:
• Assist with the selection of and make recommendations for potential audits. • Perform sales and use tax audits to determine compliance with the City sales and use tax ordinance. • Assist the taxpayer in understanding the sales and use tax ordinances. • Provide a technical review of all audits prior to submission to the City that will aid the City in the issuing of an Assessment or a refund. • Provide comprehensive and defendable audit reports, work papers, correspondence, filings, analysis and calculations pertaining to the errors identified in the audit. • Provide support to the City for taxpayer complaints, disagreements, negotiations and protested assessments.
