B24-021AL - NSRA Limber Pines Trail Construction and Improvements Project

North Slope Recreation Area, located along the Pikes Peak Highway, is owned by the Colorado Springs Utilities with recreation managed by the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Servies. The recreation area provides hiking, biking and fishing around the North and South Catamount Reservoirs.  

The Limber Pine Trail improvements will provide improved trail connection on singletrack trail through the recreation area. The new trail will provide a unique trail experience with stunning viewsheds, wilderness interactions and new non-motorized trail connectivity within the area. A trails’ contractor is solicited to build this trail deploying low-impact methods using hand-built and/or machine-built techniques to complete a finished trail.
