The Colorado Springs Police Department is seeking proposals from qualified firms that can deliver assessment instruments (tests) for evaluating candidates for the selection of sworn employees for promotion to supervisory and managerial positions. The Department seeks proposals from the industry to develop new or revised processes that have a track record of reliability, validity and adverse impact avoidance, while maintaining efficiency. The Police Department has embraced the concept of community-oriented policing and procedural justice and seeks innovative ideas for identifying specific traits, abilities or competencies that are required in a learning organization that is focused on serving its community through innovation.
