Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cherry Hills Village is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to assist in the facilitation of the “Quincy Farm Visioning Committee.” This Committee has been tasked with making recommendations to City Council on the future management and use for the property at 4400 E. Quincy Avenue, also known as “Quincy Farm.” The owner of Quincy Farm donated the land to the City and is currently residing on the property through a life estate. In anticipation of taking ownership of the Quincy Farm property at some future date, the City desires to begin the visioning and planning process for the property. With the formation of this citizens committee, the City requires the services of a qualified consultant to facilitate and document the committee’s meetings, help define their goals and objectives, set deadlines and, assist the committee in identifying future uses of Quincy Farm, and perform research and background work as needed. The Committee will ultimately present their recommendations to City Council. The consultant will also assist the committee with estimating costs of proposed improvements, long term maintenance and design of various alternative uses and programs for the Quincy Farm property. Once these needs have been identified, the facilitator/consultant will be required to help present the findings to City Council at various stages for feedback, assessment and guidance on forming the recommendations for the uses and management of the property. This plan will be presented to City Council as recommendations form the Visioning Committee. If desired by City Council the City may contract with the chosen facilitator or another firm to produce a final management plan. The production of the final management plan is not to be included as part of this Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
