23-008267 - Traffic Signal Inspections and Reporting

The City of Brighton has approximately 125 traffic signals to inspect.  There are 101 mast arm style and 24 span wire style. The City has 37 traffic signal pole structures that have already been inspected and reports have been generated. The remaining 88 traffic signals need reports that integrate with the City’s existing GIS information.  Inspections shall focus on pole/caisson bolts, mast arm bolts, structural steel integrity, paint and corrosion condition, and essential components, not including the cabinet or electronic components.  After inspection, maintenance items and repairs shall be prioritized for the City’s future planning, including using the current 37 reports.
