The City of Brighton seeks proposals of qualified construction managers/general contractors (CM/GC) to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and material as necessary for the construction of its Brighton RecPlex project. The Project will be located at the intersection of S. 40th Avenue and Southern Street in Brighton, Colorado, 80601. The Project shall consist of preconstruction services as well as the potential construction of approximately 34-acre outdoor sports complex as well as all the necessary off-site improvements such as street widening, significant stormwater piping to the outfall and connection of utilities to the site and all other items to encompass a fully functional sports complex. The City envisions the new construction to be of high quality and to provide an exceptional regional outdoor sports complex. The City is looking for a group with sports complex construction experience and a firm that is willing to work collaboratively to construct a successful project that benefits the community as a whole.

The purpose of this meeting and/or site visit is to allow Firms which may submit a proposal the opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. Note that all information verbally presented during this conference is unofficial; please submit questions in writing to obtain an official answer.

The Pre-Proposal meeting will commence at Brighton City Hall with a review of the design documents and a question-and-answer session. Following this, attendees will participate in a site walk with City project representatives to observe existing conditions firsthand.
