Summary of Specifications:
The City of Brighton, Colorado by and through it's Procurement Manager is soliciting written sealed proposals from qualified firms for licensed Construction Manager/General Contractors (CM/GC) to complete the renovation of the Future Brighton City Hall. The Scope of Work for the project will be divided into phases. The City has retained the services of Lewis Himes Architect, which has prepared schematic and other design drawings for this project. The Construction Drawings prepared by Lewis Himes will be sent as Addendum #1 on December 17, 2010. The New City Hall will be a renovation of the current Adams County Administration Building. The building is a six-story office building with an additional floor below grade (lower level). Each floor is approximately 11,400 square feet. The renovation will include demolition and remodeling of the first floor to provide City Council Chambers, City Council meeting rooms, the One Stop Permit Center, and lobby area. The second through sixth floors will require minor renovation. Renovation to begin in March of 2011 with completion and move-in anticipated for August 2011.
