RFB-02-2012 - Chapman Road Retaining Walls Rehabilitation

Summary of Specifications:
The work for which the proposal is requested consists of: 

A. Project Location: Chapman Road, West and North of Flagstaff Road located approximately 5 miles West of Boulder, Colorado. 



B. Definition of Contract Line Items: Contractor proposal shall list each line item. 1. Phase I – Rehabilitation of existing retaining walls: This item consists of all work, including that depicted on the construction drawings and required by the specifications, to stabilize and repair the masonry wall, install mechanical tie-back anchors to create a stable and aesthetically pleasing restored historic wall. 

2. Phase II – Reconstruction of failed retaining walls: This item consists of all work, including that depicted on the construction drawings and required by the specifications, to excavated, build mechanically stabilized walls, and rebuild stone masonry walls to match existing walls.
