Description

This project addresses the removal of an underground fuel storage tank (UST) located at the Wemlinger Water Purification Facility (WPF). A previous study identified relocation of a generator from Wemlinger WPF to the Sand Creek Water Reclamation Facility for improved emergency power supply. The UST at Wemlinger WPF is now obsolete and is a liability for the City. The selected contractor will remove the UST and will assist Aurora in submitting the appropriate paperwork to the State OPS (Oil and Public Safety) office to document the closure.
