The Work to be performed under the Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials equipment, tools, supplies including the installation of a new buried interconnection and delivery vault at E. Jewell Ave and Old Tom Morris Rd adjacent to the Murphy Creek Golf Course (MCGC). The Work provides for the installation of a new buried vault structure and its various elements and systems, including: civil sitework, vault structure, electrical, mechanical/HVAC, yard piping/valving, pipe appurtenances, limited demolition, new electrical power feed, new SCADA control panel and process instrumentation, access control and security systems, and safety systems. The principal project elements generally include the following:
- Miscellaneous demolition, including:
- Removal and/or salvage of miscellaneous electrical and control infrastructure (including the radio communication system equipment) in and on the existing MCGC Irrigation Pump Station which are related to the adjacent RDS water fill vault, once replacement systems are commissioned and in service for the new Interconnect and Delivery Vault.
- Partial demolition (using concrete saw cutting methods) of an existing reinforced concrete vault, general piping removal, and backfilling at the existing RDS water fill vault adjacent to the Irrigation Pump Station.
- Partial demolition of, and piping replacements in, the existing meter vault and flow control vault located at the northeast corner of the MCGC irrigation pond.
- Partial demolition and removal of the electrical and controls conduits and pull boxes between the Irrigation Pump Station and the meter and flow control vaults.
- Salvage and delivery to Owner of existing items as defined.
