The Horseshoe Park Playground Renovation will replace the 40-year-old aged playground with a new accessible one. Work to be performed includes but is not limited to a shade trellis, realign a section of Toll Gate Creek Trail, provide an ADA accessible route to the playground from the parking lot, and convert a small area of irrigated bluegrass turf to a low growing native grass that require less water and maintenance.

All work within this contract shall furnish all materials, labor, appliances, equipment, and transportation and perform all operations required to complete the improvements shown on the drawings and noted in the specifications.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Each bid response shall be submitted on the prescribed forms supplied in the Project Manual.

Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Original bid bond does not have to be delivered to the City; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City request it at a later time.

Bids shall be submitted electronically, preferably in a single file PDF format, through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (BidNet) and must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. (Mountain Time) on March 6, 2024. Bids received using another method such as mail, email, or hand delivery will not be accepted. Late bids will NOT be accepted. Bids shall be retained by the City and cannot be returned.
