2023-355 - Planning Support Services

The City of Aspen Community Development Department seeks bids from qualified firms to support the provision of current planning and historic preservation planning services, and to assist in the assessment and development of improvements to Planning Department methods, procedures, and administrative functions.

The City seeks bids from qualified individual firms rather than a consultant team comprised of a lead consultant and subconsultants. The City will not review bids from consultant teams with leads and subconsultants. The selected consultant will work closely with staff and independently as necessary to:
1) Conduct varied current and historic preservation planning case work, administrative support, research and analysis.
2) Work with departmental staff in assessing land use case processes and procedures and in developing and implementing improvements to Planning Department practices – including potential land use code amendments necessary to carry out any proposed changes.
