The first 30 minutes will be the Healthy Food for Denver's Kids staff answering specific questions on the LOI/RFP. These will be provided in writing as an addendum to the LOI/RFP. Then the HFDK staff will step aside and hand it over to the Food in Communities team from Denver Department of Public Health & Envionment.
During this in-person workshop the Food in Communities team at DDPHE, Paola Babb and Wendy Smittick, will be providing examples of food systems collaborations, including ideas around partnership structures and division of responsibilities. They will also provide open space for organizations to ask questions, meet each other, and network around common goals. We especially encourage organizations to consider collaborations which are already happening and start to “put it on paper.”
