Description

The Chaffee County County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting qualifications for a consultant/contractor to serve as an independent contractor to fulfill an independent contractor position for the role of Chaffee County Destination Development Director.

This position will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a county-wide Destination Marketing and Management Strategy and related activities, ensuring a sustainable balance of tourism promotion as a critical and highly-valued economic-driver for the Arkansas River Valley region and recognizing the impacts it can create for the local communities and the environment.

Contractors interested in performing the work described in this request for qualifications should submit the following information to the County in any order they choose:
a. A letter of interest.
b. Summary of qualifications and examples of similar successfully completed prior work, with detail on Contractors specific contributions to activities and outcomes of such work.
c. Contractors approach to work performance and estimated general schedule, including summary of tasks and milestones for all essential tasks, as necessary.
d. References for a minimum of three (3) clients and/or companies for whom Contractor has performed similar scope of work and deliverables.
e. Detailed costs or fees schedule(s) involved in completing work scope, including any proposed sub-contracts/sub-contractors.
e. A mark-up of the County Contract (“Contract”) with proposed edits, if any.
