CCFD 19-05 - Central City Fire Department 4x4 Type 3 Engine Design, Manufacture & Delivery

The City of Central, through the Central City Fire Department (“Fire Department”), is seeking quotation proposals from qualified suppliers for the building and delivery of a new 4x4 Type 3 sized Structure/Wildland Engine.  The Engine will be an ALL-Wheel Drive vehicle complete with a 600-gallon minimum tank and 750-gallon maximum tank, Waterous 1000 GPM pump with Pump and Roll capabilities, on a Freightliner 4x4 M2 106 commercial chassis.  This vehicle will be used for both structure and wildland response and must be kept in mind for use on small city streets in a historical town in the mountains of Colorado.
The Fire Department was awarded federal grant funding through the Assistance for Firefighters Grant administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Grant Award No. EMW-2018-FV-00367 (“Grant”). The proposer selected by the Fire Department shall comply with all applicable terms of the Grant.
