The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) aims to enhance and update its video infrastructure through an Upgrade Project. The primary goal of this initiative is to implement a hybrid solution incorporating Pexip Infinity and video interoperability. Pexip’s video infrastructure streamlines and secures existing hardware, which includes Poly Video Teleconferencing (VTC) devices, ViaPath GTL proprietary tablets, as well as desktop (WebRTC) and mobile applications to facilitate customized video experiences, CDOC is focused on addressing immediate challenges related to interoperability and workflow simplification, while also establishing a solution that supports scalability and future growth. This Request for Proposal outlines a comprehensive Scope of Work (SOW) that details the requirements, deliverables, and responsibilities shared among CDOC, the Offeror, and the manufacturer, for the deployment of a turnkey software-based video infrastructure platform aimed at modernizing the current video environment.
