The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC), Division of Clinical Services (Division) seeks to enter into one or more new contracts to provide statewide on-site optometry services, on an as needed basis. The total dollar amounts available for any contract(s) resulting from this RFP is expected to be approximately $300,000 annually; however, no dollar amount or amount of services will be guaranteed. Utilization of services will depend on the monies appropriated, as well as the overall need for services, the CDOC’s staffing levels and the ability of the Offeror(s) to provide services as requested. Service needs may be expected to vary significantly during the year. Approximately 7,500 total hours of services are expected to be needed for all facilities per twelve-month period. (Hourly service estimates are not available on an individual facility basis). The average patient load is 16 appointments per 8-hour scheduled service day.
