The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) states herein its belief that GovOS Inc is the sole owner of the support software and has the licensing rights from which to obtain technical on-site maintenance support for the scanning hardware and document scanner support. Software includes Application Extender and Phi Capture for all of the CDOC scanning systems and document processing requirements, upgrades, and hardware replacement.
The Document Imaging system was implemented by GovOS Inc, customized and configured to meet CDOC’s needs. GovOS Inc has the technical experience, knowledge, skills, and staffing to provide services throughout the state. GovOS’s experience extends to document imaging systems setup for use in a correctional environment, their technicians are trained to provide on-site services in high security facilities upon request. Updating and maintaining CDOC’s document scanning hardware and software is a critical function for the agency. Replacing this equipment and the support software components needed, would impose significate financial burdens on CDOC, lead to delays, and disrupt daily operational functions.
This Notice of Proposed Sole Source has been published to allow any prospective competitors or other interested parties to submit comments and/or an objection to the determination that GovOS Inc, is the sole source from which to purchase these services.
