The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) ensures the delivery of a comprehensive, community-informed, data-driven, high-quality, and equitable early childhood system that supports the care, education, and well-being of all Colorado’s young children, their families, and early childhood professionals in all settings. The CDEC vision is that all Colorado children, families, and early childhood professionals are valued, healthy, and thriving.
The intermediary will possess the necessary abilities, capacity, experience and resources to successfully support FRCs (as statutorily defined) to implement, refine, and expand the promising practice of intensive, family-driven case management, to include assessment, collaborative goal setting, and assistance with concrete economic support. In general, intermediary services include all activities required to support FRC in achieving its goals in consultation with the FRC program manager. The FRC program administrator must authorize any and all changes to the program model, service delivery, and state and/or local program-related activities prior to implementation.
