24-02 - RFI 24-02 Enterprise Casting Solutions

Boulder Valley School District RE-2 (District) is seeking bids from vendors to provide information about Enterprise Casting Solutions for use across our classrooms, office spaces and other venues.  These solutions will be utilized for TVs in rooms and projectors.

BVSD is issuing this RFI to better understand what Enterprise Casting Solutions are available for the K-12 industry and to demo the technology provided by each vendor that has an offering in this space.  This RFI might result in an RFP or direct purchase with an appropriate contract between the District and Vendor. This is a non-binding, non-competitive Request for Information (“RFI”). Responses to this RFI will not be considered as firm offers, nor will responses result directly in an award for equipment and services. Individual responses may or may not be used by the District as an aid in creating a future Request for Proposals or for negotiation of a contract.

The purpose of this request for information is to: 

• Gather information that would assist in preparation of a Request for Proposals or negotiation of a contract; 
• Derive a rough cost estimate of acquiring such enterprise casting solutions so as to examine funding options.
