Summary of Specifications:
BVSD is seeking consultant assistance to write an RFP for an extensive upgrade to its wired network infrastructure/environment as well as extending both wired and wireless network management features and capabilities. • The Network Upgrade RFP must be written in a vendor agnostic fashion, i.e., the District is not committed to any individual equipment manufacturer, installer, or service provider • The District envisions the Network Upgrade RFP will be written to solicit vendor responses that cover a number of distinct areas such as: 1) Overall system architecture 2) Core switching 3) Edge switching 4) Network Access Control 5) Mobile Device Management 6) Managed services (for both wired and wireless networks) 7) Training
