Summary of Specifications:
Aurora Public Schools employs approximately 5,700 staff members, most of whom participate in some type of professional learning. The school district needs a learning management system to coordinate all aspects of professional learning. The learning management system is needed to: specify the learning outcomes for courses, keep track of attendance for courses, provide transcripts to people to use when they are seeking re-licensure, manage room reservations, and monitor course completion for employee induction. 

In addition, Aurora Public Schools is seeking a system that will provide staff members who are responsible for evaluation with a tool to ensure consistency in evaluation processes across schools. Ideally, this system will have high-quality videos for evaluators to view and rate using the educator effectiveness rubrics. The ratings can be compared to “true scores” so that evaluators can increase the reliability of their ratings. 

Ideally, the system we select would have other functions that would further connect evaluation, professional learning, and talent managements if there is a need for any of these options in the future.
