PLEASE REVIEW ACCOMPANYING ATTACHMENTS FOR FULL RFP
1) The removal and replacement of sidewalk curb and gutter.
a. 160 square feet (total measurement, individual repairs not continuous) at Residences at First Avenue
b. 153 square feet (total measurement, individual repairs not continuous) at Summersong Townhomes
c. 420 square feet (total measurement, individual repairs not continuous) at Residences at Willow Park
i. All city walkways, curb, and gutter must conform to all specifications of and must be permitted through the City of Aurora.
ii. Finish should match existing or in accordance with City of Aurora requirements.
2) The walkways are to be poured with a 5,000 psi mix with fiber mesh reinforcement for a minimum depth of 4 inches. Recommendations based on professional experience may be accepted alternatives.
3) All walkways that are to be removed are clearly marked.
a. During process residents, guests, and staff of property to be as least inconvenienced as possible.
b. All workers are required to carry valid photo identification while working on this project.
4) All required labor, materials, tools, fill material, saw cutting, pouring in place, permitting, barricading, and forming must be included in proposal. All clean-up and haul away of concrete and job-related debris must be part of the price. No spoils to be left.
a. Contractor is responsible to protect work zone appropriately to avoid any damages or defilement to concrete: any fresh concrete damaged due to contractor negligence is subject to replacement by contractor at no cost to Aurora Housing Authority.
5) Two of these locations are federally funded project and Federal laws and regulations shall apply in addition to the laws and requirements of the State of Colorado, City of Aurora, et cetera.
a. There is a prevailing wage requirement.
b. All contractors are required to post appropriate signage.
