The Aurora Housing Authority (AHA) invites you to submit a financing proposal for any combination of the following for the Gateway Apartments project. A Quick Summary narrative of each these financing requirements is included in the attached materials:
a. Construction loan
b. Permanent loan – first mortgage (conventional)
c. Permanent loan – second mortgage/equity investment
d. Federal LIHTC tax credit equity
This is a 100-unit new construction project that was awarded an initial determination of non-competitive 4% Federal LIHTC by CHFA in the Spring of 2020. At this time, AHA is seeking a letter of intent outlining the terms of your proposed financing. AHA will review these responses with the intent of selecting its financing partners for the project.
