Summary of Specifications:
The Arapahoe Library District (ALD) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified, reliable vendors for the installation of electronic card access control devices to several doors at several facilities that operate with Honeywell N-Star System. This proposal is for the current installation of one (1) facility for the Smoky Hill Library, but the winning contractor will be awarded the install of the electronic card access at five (5) other facilities in the next three (3) to five (5) years, allowing budget.
The successful vendor will be responsible for providing labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, service and anything else necessary to perform high quality work. We are seeking a firm that is an Authorized Honeywell Dealer in order to maintain proper factory support.
The system is designed to be very flexible and expandable to handle access control need now and in the future at multiple facilities. It is critical that all of the individual system components be integrated into the system according to the multi-site configurations.
The winning vendor, if not Security Central, will be assisted by our monitoring vendor Security Central who will provide support in the integration and testing of the new devices to ensure that they are tied in properly to Security Central Administration Network.
