The Region 9 Opioid Abatement Council (ROAC) serving Arapahoe County and its municipalities, is hosting a market sounding event for the purpose of gathering feedback from regional service providers on a future objective of an acute facility-based, medically managed withdrawal management solution for opioid use disorder as well as other co-occurring substance use disorders, formerly known as detoxification services and also known as American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Level 3.7WM.
No homework. Nothing to submit! We want to know your thoughts, gain insights and here your challenges!
We hope to also include discussions of rapid drop-off for law enforcement for medically stable, nonviolent individuals, as well as options to triage mental health challenges and, once withdrawal is controlled, transition people under their care into the appropriate setting for ongoing care of both mental health and substance use conditions.
The Event will be open to the public with pre-registration at the Arapahoe County Administration Building March 12 at 3:00. The building is located at 5334 S Santa Fe Littleton, CO 80120. In person attendance is welcome. Attendance in person or remote does not impact any future solicitation scoring. A remote option will be available and a recording will be available after the event. For either the remote access or recording, please contact Kendra Davis at kdavis2@arapahoegov.com. Pre-event questions are allowed at kdavis2@Arapahoegov.com or nallen@Arapahoegov.com
