Centennial Airport (APA) is seeking professional services for special inspections and testing for their upcoming tower rehabilitation project. The anticipated schedule of work is attached (Rev. date: 3/28/2025).
The following special inspection and testing requirements, noted as “Owner will engage” or similar, and as detailed on drawing S-002, Special Inspections, included in the 11/21/2024 Issued for Construction documents, shall be performed:
014000 - Quality Requirements
033000 - Cast in Place Concrete
051200 - Structural Steel Framing
054000 - Cold Formed Metal Framing
078413 - Penetration Firestopping
078443 - Joint Firestopping
220548 - Vibration and Seismic Controls for Plumbing Piping and Equipment
Proposals shall include a 25% contingency to account for added work and/or unforeseen conditions.
Proposals shall be time and materials, not to exceed, shall be valid for a minimum of 90 days, and shall include a current rate sheet. Estimates shall be based on the documents provided and experience with similarly sized projects.
Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. APA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or irregularities in any manner considered in APA’s best interest.
APA will not be liable for any costs incurred by the respondents in replying to this RFP.

Bids will be received by the Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority, 7565 South Peoria Street,
Unit D-9, Englewood, Colorado 80112, until 3:00 p.m. local time, on May 1, 2025.
