The Aurora Highlands is a new master planned community located on the high plains prairie, approximately three miles south of Denver International Airport (DIA). The site is located east of Picadilly Road, south of 56th Avenue, north of 26th Avenue, and west of Powhaton Road (future alignment), with a portion also east of Powhaton south of 48th Avenue (future alignment). The development consists of approximately +/- 3,884.9 total acres, which is anticipated to be developed with single-family and multi-family homes, commercial, retail, industrial, and other amenities, reaching an estimated population of approximately 41,823 people at full build-out. AACMD is responsible for designing, constructing, and managing the construction of certain public improvements benefiting the Aurora Highlands, both onsite and offsite. The work generally includes (but is not necessarily limited to) the construction of new sidewalks and grading to landscape grade within Filing 7 and Filing 25. A Biddable Areas Map has been included. Any areas not designated in the map will not qualify for this solicitation and will be built by others.
