The work to be done, in general, consists of roadway repairs, including: remove and replace hot mix asphalt (HMA), crack sealing and slurry sealing, reconstructing concrete curb and gutter, root pruning, lowering and adjusting utility covers to finish grade, shoulder backing installation, traffic striping, loop detector replacement and related items of work as shown on the plans, as specified in the Standard Specifications and these special provisions, and as directed by the Engineer.
