Description

The Project generally consists of providing necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the removal of existing striping and pavement markings, application of type III micro-surface leveling course (Rut Box) in selected areas, application of asphalt rubber chip seal – medium (Double Chip Areas), application of polymer modified chip seal - medium fine and flush coat, removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement 4” thick, with C2 PG 64-16, and replacing thermoplastic striping and pavement markings on various streets within the Town of Apple Valley as specified in the Technical Specifications and as directed by the Town Engineer. Work on the Project, once begun, shall be completed within 30 working days. The anticipated award date is August 12, 2025. A Notice of Award will be issued on August 13, 2025. The Town anticipates work to start between the last week in August to the first week in September of 2025 and must be completed no later than October 17, 2025.

The Town of Apple Valley (“Town”) will receive sealed bids for the Resurfacing 2025 (“Project”) at the office of the Town Clerk no later than July 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at which time or thereafter bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) Working Days after the bid opening date.
