The Town of Apple Valley is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced multimodal transportation and civil engineering firms to provide professional engineering and design services for the Bear Valley Pathways Project. This project combines two Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 grant-funded initiatives into a single, phased effort to enhance pedestrian, bicycle, and transit infrastructure along the Bear Valley Road corridor.

All submittals received shall become the property of the Town of Apple Valley and will not be returned. Respondents shall provide five (5) copies of their submittal by the submittal deadline as well as one electronic copy on a flash drive. Proposals shall be delivered no later than the submittal deadline to:

If the Respondent is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of this RFP or finds discrepancies or omissions, the Respondent shall submit to the Town a written request for information or clarification prior to October 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to the attention of Rich Berger, either in hard copy or via email at: rberger@applevalley.org. Respondents are prohibited from contacting members of the Town Council or staff regarding this submittal. Failure to adhere to this provision shall be cause for disqualification from this process.
It is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that their Proposal is delivered to the exact location specified in this RFP on or before the stated deadline. No exceptions will be made. Proposals received after the designated date and time, regardless of the cause or method of delivery, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
