A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Richard A. Reynolds Desalination Facility located at 3066 N. Second Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910, on the following date(s) and time(s): Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. Each and every Bidder must attend the Pre-Bid Conference. Prospective Bidders may visit all Project Sites, except the La Vista Memorial Park, which is on private property. Prospective Bidders may make arrangements to visit the La Vista Memorial Park through Jason Mettler, Engineering Technician Supervisor, at (619) 409-6755 or jmettler@sweetwater.org. Bids will not be accepted from any Bidder who does not attend the Pre-Bid Conference.

Sweetwater Authority (“Authority”) will receive sealed Bids for the Pipeline Construction for the 2023-2024 Pipeline Replacement Program (“Project”) at the office of the Authority’s Engineering Department, located at 505 Garrett Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910, no later than Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 3:30 P.M. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. The Bid opening will take place in the Assembly Room at the Richard A. Reynolds Desalination Facility located at 3066 N. Second Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910, on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 4:00 P.M., at which time or soon thereafter said Bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) Calendar Days after the Bid opening date.
