Task One – Site Prep Prepare the site with installation of reinforced concrete pad and one-thousand-gallon catchment basin, conduits and other equipment of manufacturers specification, or better, to both facilities. Current generator location will necessitate cutting a trench across the Clinic parking lot and sidewalk. After conduit installation is complete, the backfill material will be compacted thoroughly and all asphalt and concrete will be patched to Owners satisfaction. Mark and safeguard all project materials and debris until it can be properly disposed of by the Contractor at their sole expense. Keep walkways clear at all times. The project area will need to be barricaded and clearly marked, at all times, in a way that does not allow pedestrian traffic to pass through. The work area will be properly secured at the end of the day by the Contractor to the satisfaction of the Owner. Any excavation that impedes patient traffic in/out of the facility parking lot will be completed during off hours for the Medical facility. Patient vehicle access to the parking lot cannot be blocked, at any time, for emergency purposes. Task Two – Installation A crane will be required to load and set the generator from a storage site on an Oberlin Rd location in Yreka, Ca. to the project location once the site has been prepared and the generator is ready for installation. A truck and trailer will be required to deliver the generator between locations. All wiring will be neatly run and clearly marked throughout the system. Exposed conduit ran on the exterior of buildings will be painted to exacting color match of existing structure. Automatic switch gear will be sized appropriately and installed in such a way to ensure ease of access when necessary. All components of this project will be installed to a minimum of state and local code. Task Three – Ensure proper function/Clean up The system will be tested to ensure proper function. Owner must be present for system testing. Any damage caused as a direct result of this project will be repaired by the Contractor by this point. All remaining DEMO/Project debris and materials will be hauled off at this time and the area will be left in a condition equal to or better than found.
