The Contractor shall provide Confidential Shredding Services to complete destruction of confidential and sensitive documents, including but not limited to paper, paper clips, binder clips, sticky notes, glossy paper, No Carbon Required (NCR) paper, fax paper, hanging file folders, binders, floppy disks, microfilm/fiche, video/audio tapes, CD’s, and fax rolls. CDCR will not be required to sort through the materials and separate them by color or type, or to remove items as listed above. The Contractor shall provide container(s) at the sizes specified on the Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. The Contractor shall contact the CDCR Contract Liaison or designee specified on the Exhibit E, List of Participating Locations for the location where each container(s) shall be placed. The Contractor shall ensure container(s) are equipped with a secure lock, wheels, labeled as Confidential Shred, and provide the CDCR Contract Liaison or designee with one (1) copy of the appropriate keys to all container(s). Services shall be completed within the timeframes specified herein and in accordance with the estimated service schedule and needs specified on the Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet, excluding weekends and State holidays, unless otherwise specified by the CDCR Contract Liaison or designee. CDCR may request additional, as needed services to meet the needs of the State. As needed services will be paid at the applicable rate, as specified on the Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. The Contractor must be able to meet the following specifications for each location: Possess a vehicle with a mounted industrial shredder with its own power source. Be able to provide full service, regardless of weather conditions, to each location. Be able to shred documents at a speed consistent with industry standards. Possess a back-up industrial shredder for immediate use in case the primary shredder becomes temporarily inoperable.
