Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Inspect well pumps, motors, and controls - Make sure pump seals are intact and the system is not running hot as well as verify proper voltage and amp draws on each motors/pumps and provide a report for each. Check all timers to ensure that pump operating times are equalized. Operate the controls manually to verify that they are working and if Plant is utilizing a Supervisor Control and Data Actuation (SCADA) system verify that the system is functional and operating for each Well and Booster pumps. Before you shut down or turn off equipment for repairs coordinate with the Institution Contract Liaison or designee first then, lock and tag equipment to ensure it will not start up accidentally and cause injury. Observe the function of each control valve and pressure switch and include in final report. b. Inspect booster pump stations. Check on the condition of the pumps, such as vibration, heat, seal, and controls to ensure that booster pumps are operating properly. Check and record meter readings and pressure gauge readings on suction and discharge sides of pumps, also verify Voltage and Amp draw reading and include findings in final report.
