Specifications include, but are not limited to: Western Water is expanding its advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system. The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain competitive bids from qualified firms to replace approximately 1,729 existing (5/8-inch to 2-inch) meters with Neptune T-10 with remote reading E-Coder R900i pit set combination encoder register/radio frequency meter interface unit (MIU) with external antenna or Neptune T-10 with remote reading E-Coder R900 Cellular meters. The meters included in the Project are located within Western Water’s service area. The Project will require meters to be installed by route and will be dependent on blackout dates due to billing purposes. Western Water will provide the Neptune T-10/R900i meters, as well as meter box lids and antennas.
