Services to be performed by the Proposer’s Laboratory (“Laboratory”) include (but may not be limited to) the following: • Aquatic chronic toxicity testing on VWRF effluent and up to five (5) receiving water station samples using marine species; • Sediment toxicity testing at up to five (5) receiving water stations. The list of Laboratory services is provided in Exhibit B (“Laboratory Billing Rates”). All sample handling and analysis must be performed in compliance with the VWRF NPDES Permit (Los Angeles Regional Board Order No. R4-2020-0024 and subsequent NPDES permits) and established regulatory requirements, including (but not limited to) 40 CFR part 136, EPA methods, the statewide Toxicity Provisions, and other EPA- and State Water Board-approved analytical methods documents and compendia.
