Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Riverside Emergency Management Department (EMD) is soliciting quotations for the outfitting of vehicles with emergency equipment compliant with California Code of Regulations Title 13, mobile radios, and various vehicle components and accessories. EMD currently operates a fleet of vehicles that are strategically located throughout Riverside County. To ensure operational readiness, EMD is standardizing all vehicle equipment to improve interoperable functionality and increase ease of use. All modifications must coincide with the current vehicle equipment. EMD is a comprehensive all hazard emergency management program with responsibility spanning across the entire operational area. EMD is actively involved in all phases of emergency management which include mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. The EMD Duty Officer Program is a 24/7 operation that requires EMD to maintain a fleet of highly specialized vehicles that are response ready.
