Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Gonda Neuroscience and Genetics Research Center (Gonda) Building is a 7 story, 125,502 GSF research laboratory building. A Deep Energy Efficiency Program is being implemented, with the goal to reduce energy consumption. The project scope is for the main laboratory spaces and includes energy conservation measures related to the building ventilation and air distribution system. Retrofitting dual duct terminal units with new DDC controls and actuators. Provide new lab supply/ exhaust air control valves. Provide new variable frequency drives. Provide sensors and controls as shown. Provide new ductwork and seal existing as well as new diffusers as required. Provide fume hood sash sensors. Provide new supply and return dampers. Provide changes in controls sequences as required by new work. Modify circulation pump configuration, adjust valves and re-balance. Identify locations, and provide corrections to high surface temperature piping lacking sufficient insulation.
