Specifications include, but are not limited to: Program Description: The Trauma Informed Wellness Program for the African American/Black Community will provide outreach, engagement and time-limited (up to six months) prevention services to African American/Black community members of all ages and genders, with special consideration given to children, youth and transition age youth (ages 0 to 25), who have experienced or been exposed to trauma. The program shall incorporate an understanding of African American/Black cultural heritage, including norms and traditions, the broad and multifaceted definition of family, and historical trauma.The successful applicant shall provide the following time-limited (up to six months) services, Outreach and Engagement: activities that are culturally relevant and effectively engage community members using a combination of social media platforms, community based and in person street outreach to promote the services to the community.
