Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Berkeley’s Mental Health Division (BMH) is pursuing the establishment of a case management contract for up to $100,000 with an individual(s) or organization(s) possessing at least three (3) years of demonstrated experience working with Transition Age Youth (TAY), defined here as those between sixteen and twenty-four (16-24) years of age. The specific population targeted will be very low income TAY who have both a serious mental illness (21 and over) or a serious emotional disturbance (under 21) and a functional impairment, defined here as: limitations in social and occupational spheres of life, or limitations in other important areas of functioning. The purpose on this contract will be to provide clinical case management services for TAY residing or going to school in Berkeley or Albany.
