1. RN: a. Plan and implement nursing care. This includes administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, disease prevention, physicians’ orders, as well as obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing. b. Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team in developing multi-disciplinary treatment efforts; complete assigned weekly summaries, formulate care plans, assist physicians with rounds; note and institute physician orders; c. Provide observation, ongoing patient assessments, and therapeutic intervention consistent with the patient physical and psychological status; evaluate effectiveness of patient treatment regimens and record progress; d. Document all nursing activities in medical records, including an initial nursing assessment, treatment interventions, and patient education; e. Ensure that staff utilizes optimum standards of resident care and that staff members observe safety and Infection Control Precautions and regulations at all times; 2. LVN: a.
