Specifications include, but are not limited to: deliver, assemble, and install up to thirty (30) Solar Compacting Stations (Stations) for use as compacting trash and/or recycling receptacles. Sites for Stations include but are not limited to public sidewalks, plazas, and parking lots owned and operated by the City of Berkeley and/or operated by a Property and Business Improvement Districts (PBID) approved by Ordinance of the City Council as described in Chapter 7.94 of the Berkeley Municipal Code. Each proposer’s application shall include a price per unit (complete spreadsheet Attachment K. Purchase Price Sheet) and detailed information and costs associated with supplies, manufacturer recommended parts and maintenance, and service costs (complete spreadsheet Attachment L. Supplies, Parts and Services) to ensure the City has a clear understanding of the initial purchase costs as well as maintenance and operation costs for up to five (5) years of use.
