Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Customer Service Center (CSC) building is approaching 25 years of age and the caulking, exterior sealants, expansion joints, foundation seals, etc. have begun to fail. SMUD’s goal is to secure a qualified contractor to remove and replace the original materials of construction for the building sealants, etc. and restore the shell to its original condition. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the Contract. The work generally consists of removal of the existing caulking and replacing it with like or equal, removal and replacement of the building expansion joints, removal and replacement of the foundation seal, and re-sealing any flashing.
