Building #3 has 2643.30 SQ FT of carpet, and 812.13 SQ FT of vinyl.
Building #4 has 2851.32 SQ FT of carpet, and no vinyl.
Building #5 has no carpet, and 59.04 SQ FT of vinyl.
5494.6 Total SQ FT of carpet.
871.17 Total SQ FT of vinyl.
2. Is there a designated janitorial closet available for contractor use?
The janitorial closet is in building #4, and the janitorial supply cabinets in building #3. Building #5 will use supplies from building #3.
3. To clarify, is this requirement only for one year?

INTRODUCTION
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03, effective 17 January 2025.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business.
DESCRIPTION
The U.S. Geological Survey Idaho Water Science Center (IDWSC) requires Janitorial Services as described in the attached Performance Work Statement. The USGS requires a base year + 1 option year.
SUBMISSION OF QUOTES
All services will be performed at the IDWSC in Boise, ID.
RELEVENT INFORMATION
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561720 defined as Janitorial Services and associated size standard $22.0 million applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code S201 defined as Housekeeping - Custodial Janitorial.
This service is subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determination# 2015-5503 and Executive Order 13658.
All quote documents required by this Request for Quote must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than Monday, March 24, 2025, at 12:00pm MT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered.
Offerors are to include a technical description of the services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors. This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary.
