As a part of its energy efficiency programs, Roseville Electric Utility provides Home Energy Reports (HER) to its residential customers. These reports, online and/or hard copy, are designed to increase customer awareness of individual energy use by providing a comparison to other similar households with a message to influence behavior to reduce energy consumption. This reduction in energy use is measurable and is accepted by the California Energy Commission as a valid program for the utility to meet its energy goals as required by Assembly Bill 1037. This program supports the Utility’s portfolio of residential rebate programs, which is part of the broader portfolio of energy efficiency programs provided by the Utility through the use of public benefit funds. These programs allow the Utility to offer services that both enhance our community and meet our regulatory requirements. The purpose of this RFP is to request proposals for a continuation and potential enhancement of its HER program for Roseville residential customers. Proposals for the HER program that also include commercial customer account option will also be considered.
