Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1). The Contractor shall perform reroofing of existing building, including: a. Demolition of existing roofing and associated material demo equipment as identified. b. Remove metal flashing and replace with new. c. Installation of new PVC roofing system, drains and parapet cap d. Clear existing roof drains and overflows to their point of exit discharge at street level. e. Adjust height of HVAC curbs, remove, and reset equipment, dusts and piping. (2). Inspect roof sheathing and structure for damage. Any issues shall be immediately reported in writing to the DMV Project Manager. (3). Elevate roof drains and overflows as necessary. (4). Clean, patch, and repair any damage done to remaining items during the term of the Agreement and restore finishes of those remaining items. (5). Electrical disconnect to remain. (6). Paint roofing components as needed to return to pre-construction condition. (7). Maintain watertight building throughout construction. (8). The building will be occupied and operational during construction. (9). Dispose of all removed materials off-site at no additional cost to the DMV.
