The Butte County Department of Public Works (BCPW) is seeking to retain a qualified Right-of-Way consulting firm to provide specific right-of-way services for the Autrey Lane, Monte Vista Ave. & Lower Wyandotte Rd. SRTS Project, which is located in the south Oroville area. The county intends to fund the project with an ATP grant. The grant application will be submitted in June 2020. The project proposes to install bike lanes and pedestrian sidewalks to close gaps between existing active transportation improvements. Additional public right of way will be necessary to accommodate these facilities. Anticipated services include acquisition of permanent right of way and temporary construction easements. Based on preliminary design, sliver right of way takes will be required from approximately four adjacent property owners. Temporary construction easements will be required from approximately 18 adjacent property owners. All work shall conform to the most current Caltrans Standards, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), and all applicable laws and regulations. All questions should be submitted through Public Purchase by May 28, 2020.
