Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Fire Sprinkler Heads 1. There are approximately 413 fire sprinklers and escutcheons in the occupancy areas and 83 fire sprinklers and escutcheons in the attic areas on the DCCC site. Contractor shall be responsible for the accurate count of fire sprinkler heads at the DCCC site to insure all fire sprinkler heads and escutcheons are replaced. The above fire sprinkler total count was taken from the Fire Sprinkler Design Plans generated by Automatic Sprinkler Engineering company dated May 13, 1969 plan number 68-240 2. Contractor shall replace all fire sprinkler heads with new fire sprinkler heads of the same size, type, proper temperature rating, required flow rating, pressure ratings, thermal sensitivity response time, K-factor, installation orientation, water distribution characteristics, and service condition. 3. All fire sprinkler heads shall be new, undamaged, and brass to match the existing fire sprinkler heads. 4. All fire sprinkler heads shall be permanently marked as required by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25. 5. Contractor shall supply three additional new spare fire sprinkler heads and wrenches for each type of fire sprinkler head as required by NFPA 25. 6. Contractor shall provide the CDE Contract Monitor with a typed list of the sprinklers installed in the DCCC site and the list shall also be posted in the sprinkler cabinet by the CDE Contract Monitor.
